Representantes do UNIPAM participam de Congresso em Ribeirão Preto
O professor do Centro Universitário de Patos de Minas (UNIPAM), Jeyson Césary Lopes, juntamente com os alunos Murilo Oscar, do curso de Farmácia, Nayara Bontempo e Paulo Roberto, do curso de Medicina Veterinária e Sarah Constante, do curso de Enfermagem e os ex-alunos, Paula Marynela e Victor Constante, participaram recentemente do 13° Congresso da MutaGen Brasil 2017, realizado de 1º a 3 de junho, em Ribeirão Preto (SP).
Na oportunidade foram apresentados os trabalhos desenvolvidos no Laboratório de Citogenética e Mutagênese do UNIPAM, “carcinogenic effect of the coke identified by the test for detection of epithelial tumor clones (warts) in Drosophila melanogaster”, “enhancing and modulating effects of CuDoxPhen combined with two different mutagens in somatic cells of Drosophila melanogaster.”, “Modulatory effects of Metformin on the mutagenicity induced by Doxorubicin in wing somatic cells of Drosophila melanogaster”, “Evaluation of anticarcinogenic effect of the Dissulfiram through the test for detection of clones of epitelial tumors (warts) in Drosophila melanogaster”, “Evaluation of anticarcinogenic effect of the Gerioox® through the test for detection of clones of epitelial tumors (warts) in Drosophila melanogaster”, “Absence of mutagenicity of clonazepam in somatic cells of Drosophila melanogaster”, “Evaluation of the carcinogenic effect of clonazepam, by testing for the detection of epithelial tumor clones (warts) in Drosophila melanogaster”, “Lack of mutagenicity of metformin in the Drosophila somatic mutation and recombination test”.
Vale ressaltar que o Laboratório de Citogenética e Mutagênese do UNIPAM realiza anualmente, um vasto número de pesquisas científicas, dentre iniciações cientificas, TCC’s e monografias, além de trabalhos de Mestrado e Doutorado em parceria com Universidades Federais, revelando o interesse e o apoio do UNIPAM com a pesquisa científica.
